Babies usually start responding to their name by the time they're 7 months old. Use her name frequently when you talk to her, and soon she'll make the connection between herself and her name and turn to you when you call her.
Each baby develops at her own pace, so your child may reach this milestone a little earlier or later than another baby the same age. But if she doesn't respond to her name by the time she's 9 months old, mention it to her doctor.
